Die Kavatine "Willst jenes Tags du dich nicht mehr entsinnen" ist für mich der Höhepunkt der Oper, einmal wegen der Oboeneinleitung zu diesem Stück und dann der Orchesterübergang zwischen "als du zu dir mich riefest in das Tal" und "als dir der Blume Hochland zu gewinnen", den ich sehr bewegend finde. Hier zeigt sich das melodiöse Talent von Wagner und generell von Komponisten, welche es schaffen, Melodien zu erfinden, welche Rührung oder Ergriffenheit/Bewegung auslösen.

At 1.39 that girl has had Botox. It may be deliberate bit most of the faces shown have this abnormal top of the nose between the eyes. I love fandangos. Soler’s is my favourite but this is still great. Actually a lot of Goya’s subjects look like this.
